(Basically, we're a group that proposes things to sign into our law, and we vote on it.  Just for fun and the purpose of killing boredom.  Care to join?)

We recommend using:
Google Chrome
A Gmail account
and Subscribing to important pages like Legislation, The Law, Members, etc.
This way you will get notifications.

Ranks
When you join, you are automatically rank 0.
You simply have opinions, but your votes will not be counted.
If you obtain a negative rank.. then The Council will likely vote against your desires.. don't become negative.
If you achieve a higher rank, then you have more influence.
Rank 2 counts as 2 votes on each vote.  Rank 10 counts as 10 votes, etc.

Titles
On the Members tab, all of the members with ranks other than 0 are shown.  Beside your name, is your title. Your title is always with you, regardless of your rank. Titles are recommended to people and voted upon just like ranks.

Conduct
Be kind, humorous, and all around awesome to achieve higher ranks.
You can recommend people to higher ranks on the Recommendations page.
Again, keep it kind.  Hate groups are illegal, and we are strongly not a hate group.

Voting
You vote on propositions by replying to them.  Reply to the actual proposition by using the button that is right under the proposition you wish to vote on.  Otherwise you'll post a comment that would count as an actual proposition.  The Vote Tallier will count all the votes and multiply them by the rankings (other than negatives) that the voters held.

Polls
You may have noticed the polls on the right side of your screen.
If you wish to submit a poll, you may submit it via the "Legislation" Tab.
If it is approved, it will be shown to the right.
To submit, however, make sure you include your exact question, the exact choices you want available, whether or not users should be able to select multiple answers, and the duration of the poll.
The benefit of polls is that ranks are not used in deciding the outcome.  Each vote counts for one vote.  So this is the most democratic way to get business done.

Membership
We recommend getting a Google Account, so that you are actually considered.
Because an anonymous user could pose as you, and we wouldn't know the difference if you actually post anonymously.  You become a member once you pass rank 0.  Everyone starts at rank 0 as a default.
